FlexArc® B – Dual-Robot Welding with Flexible Safety and High Productivity
The FlexArc® B is a scalable arc welding cell designed to deliver high productivity, flexibility, and operator safety. It supports up to two ABB robots (IRB 1600, 2600, or 4600) and comes with a full set of safety features, including fencing, a fume hood, and a choice of roll door or horizontal/vertical light curtain in the loading zone. The integrated IRP B positioner is available in three variants and supports workpieces up to 750 kg including fixtures, making the cell suitable for a wide range of applications.
Built on a modular base frame, the FlexArc B features ABB's adaptive software and high-speed drives for quick cycle times and efficient changeovers. It includes an IRC5 controller, HMI with FlexPendant, a 250 kg welding wire pack for continuous operation, and a TSC unit with torch cleaner and BullsEye® calibration. The cell is compatible with multiple proven welding power source brands, offering a reliable and customizable solution for industrial arc welding automation.
