High-Performance FlexPicker for Packaging and Sorting
The IRB 390 FlexPacker® is a high-speed delta robot available in 4- and 5-axis variants, designed to handle secondary packaging, sorting, and on-demand picking of products up to 15 kg. Its fifth axis provides full orientation capability, ideal for Shelf Ready and Retail Ready Packaging where vertical product placement is required.
Available in two models—IRB 390-15/1300 and IRB 390-10/1300—the robot offers a large working envelope and superior cycle performance, enabling high-throughput packaging lines. IP67 protection, food-grade lubrication, and FDA-compliant surfaces make the IRB 390 well suited for use in hygienic sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals, and personal care. The IRB 390 integrates with ABB’s PickMaster® Twin for vision-guided, high-variation order handling and can be combined with IRB 360 to create complete high-speed packaging cells.
