The IRB 5350 is a compact, rail-mountable door opener robot specifically engineered to automate interior car door access during paint processes. Available in a 3-axis version for stop-and-go booths and a 4-axis rail version for moving-line applications, it adapts to booth widths of 4.5 to 6 meters and conveyor speeds up to 10 m/min.
The robot features a custom door opener tool equipped with integrated sensors for door detection, gripping, and force-controlled opening and closing cycles. With QuickMove™ and TrueMove™ motion control, the IRB 5350 can complete a full door operation in under 3 seconds. It supports payloads up to 7 kg and delivers up to 150 N force. With IP66 protection and EX-certified accessories, it is fully compatible with ABB’s IRC5P controller and RobotStudio Paint for safe and precise automation in automotive interior paint zones.
