High-Speed Delta Robot for Ultra-Fast Picking Tasks
The IRB 365 FlexPicker is a 5-axis delta robot optimized for high-speed reorientation, sorting, and top-loading of lightweight packaged products. Available in three variants (IRB 365-1.5/800, 1100, 1300), it supports payloads up to 1.5 kg and delivers up to 120 picks per minute depending on cycle configuration and load. Powered by the OmniCore C30 controller and compatible with PickMaster Twin, it enables fast, vision-guided picking with high accuracy and minimal cycle times. Its 5-axis design provides a key advantage by allowing simultaneous picking and precise product reorientation, reducing the need for additional handling equipment and increasing overall line efficiency. Combined with quick changeovers and flexible programming, the IRB 365 is well suited for high-mix production environments where frequent SKU changes are required.
Designed with IP54 protection and food-grade lubrication, the IRB 365 is ideal for hygienic and demanding applications across food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical, and e-commerce industries. Its compact, overhead-mounted design maximizes usable floor space while supporting high throughput and consistent performance. Typical uses include reorientation and placement of wrapped food items such as chocolates and snacks, high-speed sorting and singulation from conveyors using vision systems, top-loading into trays or cartons, handling of small parcels in logistics, and precise manipulation of pharmaceutical items such as vials or blisters. Built-in safety features and calibration tools ensure reliable, high-precision operation, while streamlined integration and reduced system complexity help lower the total cost of ownership.
